INFORMATION

Herne Bay Amateur Rowing Club is on the North Kent coast and competes in the CARA regattas in Kent and Sussex throughout the summer season. Last season (2007) our Senior 4 and Veteran 4 crews qualified for the South Coast Championships. In the 2005 season we won both the Bideford Bowl and the Pompey Grand - coastal rowing's top two trophies and we are current holders of the Pompey Grand.
Additionally last season Herne Bay won the novice aggregate and the novice championship (crew members pictured below)

Herne Bay Regatta cancelled
Today's regatta has been cancelled. After a month of south westerleys the wind has swung round to the north and is rising which will make conditions too bad for racing today.
