Herne Bay
Amateur Rowing Club is on the North Kent coast and competes in the CARA regattas in Kent and Sussex throughout the summer season. Last season (2007) our Senior 4 and Veteran 4 crews qualified for the South Coast Championships. In the 2005 season we won both the Bideford Bowl and the Pompey Grand - coastal rowing's top two trophies and we are current holders of the Pompey Grand.
We always welcome new members, so why not try it out. The rowing club offers a healthy, safe club and has a youth protection officer and a well stocked Bar for older members.
(NB These are all external sites) The full range of club Rowing Kit is available online from Godfrey Sports.
