Thanks to all the club members who turned out for the Annual General Meeting on Friday.

The main business of the evening was to elect a new Committee for 2012 and the results were as follows :-

Firstly congratulations to Trevor Brown who has the honour of serving the club as President for the next 2 years taking over from Jim Campbell.

Paul Monroe remains as Chairman with new Vice Chairman Jeff Hutton.

Mark Davies continues as Secretary and Harry Roberts will continue as Treasurer, a post he took over towards the end of 2011 when long standing Treasurer Phil Thornton stood down. The Chairman thanked Phil in his absence for the many years of service he had given the club.

Regatta Secretary will be Ryan Epps.

This year the Captain will be Liz Taylor assisted by Vice Captain Ryan Hosking.

Safety Officer remains Guy Addington and Sam Epps is the new Welfare Officer.

The final elctions to the Committee were for 2 social members Debbie Potterton and John Holness and 4 Rowing members John Cox and Leyton Potterton were elected leaving 2 vacancies on the committee (no additional paid up members were nominated at the AGM). The committee will consider co-opting 2 further members when they meet.

First meeting for the new Committee is on the 7th February.
